Opening Day Is Here (Almost)

It's that time of the year again (even though it is about five days earlier this year) as the 2011 MLB season begins tomorrow.  It is a breath of fresh air to sports fans coast to coast, as the NBA is being its usual lame self, still a couple days left before the start of the Final Four and when the only news coming out of the world of football whether it be college or pro is scandal after scandal and how the powers that be are fucking the players.

 My beloved Reds look to make another run at the National League Central title as they open up with division rival Milwaukee Brewers.  Reigning National League MVP Joey Votto, who is undoubtedly the best player in the game, looks to further cement his legacy as one the best Reds of the last 25 years.  Our pitching is top notch with the likes of Mike Leake, Edinson Volquez and Travis Wood.  The outfield is dominated with young talent in Drew Stubbs and Jay Bruce (and yeah, Johnny Gomez).  So happy Opening Day eve my fellow fans!  Enjoy!

That's enough Tyler Perry

As I was watching my daily hour of Seinfeld on TBS this evening I noticed a preview during the commercials promoting Tyler Perry's new garbage heap that is the Madea franchise.  This time Madea (the 6'4" 250 pound drag queen played by Perry) is again the central character in the new movie titled Madea's Big Happy Family, or as my circle of friends will call it, another shit fest created by Tyler Perry.  I understand he is successful, and I am not hating on him because of that fact, I am hating on the constant stream of crap that flows out of the mind of Perry and how said crap is lapped up by willing audiences.

Tyler Perry has starred in, much of it in drag, and directed such shit fests as Diary Of A Mad Black Woman , Madea's Family Reunion, and the classic Madea Goes To Jail.  And due to the incoming of profits being thrown at Madea, excuse me Tyler Perry, he/she will continue to produce these horse shit films.  If you happen to like these movies well then you are a straight retard or both deaf and dumb.  So for the love of God.... THAT'S ENOUGH ALREADY MR/MRS PERRY!

Beer of The Week: Miller High Life

Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a deep, intense love for Miller High Life.  Hate the commercials but love the beer.  Not only are the bottles badass but whats inside those bottles are pure fucking magic.  The super bubbly, delicious beer is guaranteed to sooth all your ills.  I highly recommend drinking this beer every chance you get.  Fuck your fancy German lagers and that douche bag charcoal tasting piss water that is Guiness.  Miller High Life is where it's at.  So get your ass up and go buy a 12 pack or a full 30 rack and let the good times flow.  Cheers!

Brad Stevens = One badass, glasses wearing Coach

He's super young and super good at coaching.  The Butler University head mens basketball coach is on a tear.  As of this afternoon his Bulldogs are playing the Florida Gators to earn their second consecutive trip to the Final Four.  Last year Steven led the Bulldogs not only to the Final Four but the National Championship where they lost in a thriller to those pesky Duke Blue devils.  Stevens is one cool customer, not only does he look like the youngest guy on the whole team (coach or player), but all the guy does is win.  Anyone who can put Butler on the national map is a badass in my book.  Well done Coach Stevens and good luck.
